  • Mitigation: Implement a comprehensive communication strategy that includes COVID-19 education, policies, and procedures.

  1. Hazard: Spreading of COVID-19 within the office

  5. Hazard: Non-compliance by building management to COVID-19 rules

    • Risk: Shared spaces within the building (i.e., lobby, elevators) can increase the risk of transmission.

    • Mitigation: Collaborate with building management to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

  6. Hazard: COVID-19 spread due to public transport usage by staff

    • Risk: Public transport can heighten exposure risk.

    • Mitigation: Encourage alternative modes of transport, such as walking, cycling, or driving. If not possible, promote mask usage and hand hygiene.

    • Risk: Changes in working conditions can lead to increased stress and mental health issues.

    • Mitigation: Provide resources for mental health support and maintain regular communication with staff.

  8. Hazard: Discrimination against staff members with 'protected characteristics'

    • Risk: Certain groups may face increased health or discrimination risks.

    • Mitigation: Ensure policies and procedures are inclusive and do not inadvertently discriminate against certain groups.
